Frequently asked questions
What things cost, how long they take, who owns the code, and what happens after launch — grouped by the kind of work. Nothing here changes on a call.
A basic business website starts at ₹4,999 and a web application starts at ₹9,999. The final price depends on what the site has to do — a booking platform with payments and an admin dashboard costs more than a brochure site. We give you a fixed written quote after one call, so you know the number before committing to anything. There are no hourly surprises. Read the full website development cost guide
A business website takes considerably less time than a platform with bookings, payments and a dashboard. We give you a stage-by-stage timeline in the proposal and a working link you can check throughout, so you always know where the project stands instead of waiting for a launch date.
You do, completely. The code sits in your GitHub account, the domain and hosting are registered in your name, and the database is yours. We do not hold anything hostage. If you want to move to another developer, everything transfers with no cooperation needed from us.
Yes, and most of our work is web applications: booking systems, admin dashboards, customer portals, marketplaces and internal tools that replace spreadsheets. Web apps start at ₹9,999 for a basic version. They run in the browser on any device, so there is no app store review and nothing to install.
Yes. We take on redesigns, rebuilds, performance fixes, and sites abandoned by a previous developer. We start by reviewing what exists and tell you honestly whether it is cheaper to repair it or start again. Sometimes the answer is repair.
Both, depending on what the site needs to do. WordPress is a sensible choice for content-led sites your team will edit often. Custom is the right call when the site runs bookings, payments, dashboards or logic that a plugin cannot handle reliably. We recommend based on your case, not our preference. Running several sites? Our own AI-ready headless CMS lets one team write for all of them. See Ureka CMS
Technical SEO is included in every build — site speed, mobile performance, clean URL structure, meta tags, schema markup and Google Search Console setup. Ongoing content and link work is a separate engagement. A fast, correctly structured site is the foundation either way.
Every project includes a support window where we fix anything that breaks. After that you can move to a maintenance retainer covering hosting, updates, security patches and small changes, or handle it yourself with the documentation we hand over. Both are normal.
Yes, and for most Indian businesses it is the highest-impact thing on the site. Enquiries, booking confirmations, payment links, reminders and follow-ups can all go out over the official WhatsApp Business API automatically. Customers read WhatsApp. They do not read email.
Yes. We are based in New Delhi and meet NCR clients in person when it helps, but most of our projects run entirely over WhatsApp and video calls. We have delivered for clients across India and internationally without ever being in the same room.
Yes. Common ones are a WhatsApp or website assistant that answers from your own documents and prices, forms that read uploaded invoices or IDs, and dashboards that flag the orders or leads worth a look. We add AI only where it removes a repeated manual step, and we tell you when a plain rule would do the job. Add AI to your web application
A basic app starts at ₹14,999 for both Android and iOS. The final price depends on the number of features, whether you need a backend, and whether the app is cross-platform or native. We give you a fixed written quote after one call, covering both Android and iOS, so you know the full cost before committing. No hourly billing surprises. Read the full app development cost guide
A focused MVP takes considerably less time than an app with payments, real-time features or hardware integration. You get a stage-by-stage timeline in the proposal and an installable build every two weeks, so progress is something you can hold rather than something you are told.
For most apps aimed at Indian customers, start with Android, because that is the phone most of them carry. Add iOS when your users are abroad, in premium segments, or use company iPhones. In practice most clients get both, because one Flutter or React Native codebase covers Android and iOS for close to the cost of one. We recommend on the first call.
Cross-platform suits most apps — one codebase for Android and iOS, lower cost, faster launch, single-place updates. Native makes sense for heavy device use: continuous background location, deep Bluetooth or hardware integration, or exacting performance. We tell you which your app needs on the first call.
Yes, it is included. We prepare store listings, screenshots, descriptions, privacy declarations and data safety forms, submit the app, and handle any rejections. Store review rejections are normal and usually fixable within days when you know what the reviewers are asking for.
You do. The source code is in your GitHub, the store accounts are registered to your company, and the backend runs on your cloud account. If you move to another developer, everything transfers without needing anything from us.
Yes. We take on apps abandoned mid-build, apps with performance problems, and apps that need a rebuild. We review the existing code first and tell you honestly whether fixing it or restarting is cheaper. Sometimes the existing code is fine and only the backend needs work.
Every project includes a support window for whatever breaks in the first weeks. After that you can move to a maintenance retainer covering OS updates, store policy changes, bug fixes and small features. Apps need maintenance whether or not you add features — Android and iOS keep changing.
Yes. Flutter is one of our two default cross-platform choices, alongside React Native. It gives you one codebase for Android and iOS, smooth performance on mid-range phones and a single place to ship updates. See our Flutter app development services
Yes. We add AI where it does a real job — reading documents, answering customer questions, recommending items, or automating a manual step — and connect it to the app's backend so it works on your data. See AI app development
If people use it occasionally and briefly, a fast mobile website is usually the better spend — no install, no store review, cheaper to change. An app earns its cost when you need push notifications, offline use, device features, or genuinely frequent repeat use. We will say which one your case is. See our website development services
A basic Flutter app starts at ₹14,999 for both Android and iOS. The final price depends on features, the backend and integrations like payments or maps. We give you a fixed written quote after one call, so you know the full cost before committing. Read the full app development cost guide
One codebase runs on Android, iOS and the web, so you pay for one build instead of two and ship updates in one place. Flutter apps perform smoothly on mid-range Android phones, which is what most Indian users carry.
Yes. Our dedicated team model gives you Flutter developers working only on your product, billed monthly. You set the priorities, we ship every sprint, and you can scale up or down with a month's notice.

Yes. We take on Flutter apps abandoned mid-build or with performance problems. We review the code first and tell you honestly whether fixing it or restarting is cheaper.
Both are good, and we build in both. Flutter is usually our pick for new apps that need a polished UI and smooth performance on low-end phones. React Native makes sense if your team already works in React. We recommend based on your case. See all mobile app development services

No, we are a small development team in New Delhi. You still talk directly to the developer building your project, like you would with a freelancer, but there is a team behind them so the work does not stop if one person is busy.
Similar starting prices, plus a written scope, a team that does not disappear halfway through, and everything registered in your name. For a single landing page or a tiny fix, a freelancer may be cheaper, and we will tell you so.

It depends on the task and the state of your data, so we do not publish a price list. Most projects start with a four-week pilot on one task, at a fixed price agreed in writing before we start. If the pilot works, we quote the production system as a fixed scope and timeline, using the numbers the pilot measured. If it does not, you stop there and have spent only the pilot price. See how the fixed-price AI pilot works
Yes. We build AI features inside mobile apps and web applications: assistants that answer from your own documents, screens that read invoices, IDs or meters from a photo, and dashboards that flag what needs a person's attention. We build the app and the AI together, so they share one backend. See AI-powered mobile apps
For predictive models, yes — they learn from your history, and the quality of that history sets the ceiling. For document processing, chatbots and AI agents, often no: those can work from your existing files, policies and rules. We check what you have before promising anything.
For general writing and research, use it. Custom work is worth it when the AI needs your private data, has to follow your specific rules, must connect to your systems, or has to run the same task reliably thousands of times without a person prompting it each time.
No. Your data is used to build your system and nothing else, and we do not contribute it to public model training. Where data cannot leave your infrastructure, we build the system to run on your own servers, including fully offline. NDAs are signed before detailed discussions.
That depends on the task and your data, and anyone quoting a number before seeing either is guessing. This is why we run a pilot: you get measured accuracy on your own material, compared against how your team performs today, before deciding whether to build the full system.
A pilot takes four weeks. A production system built into your workflow takes longer, because connecting it to your existing tools is normally the larger part of the work. The model itself is often the fastest piece to build.
Every system we build is designed around that. Low-confidence cases get routed to a person instead of guessed at, decisions are logged so errors can be traced, and accuracy thresholds are set with you. For tasks where a mistake is expensive, a human stays in the loop by design.
Usually yes. Most business systems can be connected through an API, a database, or a file exchange. Where a system is genuinely closed, we build around it. We check what you run during the first conversation, because integration is often the deciding factor.
Yes. We build assistants on the official WhatsApp Business API, trained on your own documents, prices and policies, that hand over to a human when they should. For Indian businesses this is usually the highest-impact place to put an AI assistant. See our WhatsApp solutions
We tell you, on the first call, and explain what would work instead — often better software, a cleaner process, or a tool you already own. We would rather lose a project than build something that does not earn its cost. It happens regularly.
Each pilot has a fixed price, agreed in writing before we start, based on the task and how much data is involved. It covers the four weeks, the working prototype, the accuracy report and the recommendation, and it only changes if the task changes. If the pilot works, the production build is quoted separately as a fixed scope.
Four weeks for one task. Week 1 picks the task and checks the data, weeks 2 and 3 build and improve a working version on your real examples, and week 4 scores it on cases it has not seen. You get the results on a call at the end of week 4.
We do not promise a number before seeing your data, and you should be wary of anyone who does. The pilot measures it: the report shows how often the system gets the task right on your own held-back examples, next to how your team performs today. That number is measured on your sample. Results in production can move as your data changes, which is why we keep monitoring after launch.
You stop, with a written explanation of why and what would have to change, usually better or more data. You have paid the pilot price and nothing more. A stop after four weeks is a useful result, because it saves the cost of a full build that would not have paid back.
Yes. Code, prompts, any trained model and your data stay in your accounts and repositories, whether or not you go ahead with a full build.
Yes. If your data cannot leave your network, we run the pilot on your infrastructure using open models such as Llama or Mistral. We agree the setup in week 1.
Message us on WhatsApp with the task and roughly how often it happens. We reply within a few hours, have a short call, and send a fixed written quote for the pilot within 24 hours. If a pilot does not make sense, we tell you on that call. See our AI and ML development services
There are two costs: what you pay the cloud provider, and what you pay us to run it. We usually start by reviewing your current bill, because the savings we find often cover a meaningful part of our fee. Migration is fixed-price; managed cloud is a monthly retainer based on how much infrastructure exists.
Normally no. We build the new environment alongside the old one, copy data across, test it fully, and switch traffic over only when it works. The cutover itself is usually a few minutes of DNS change, done at your quietest hour, with the old setup kept running for a week as a rollback.
Usually yes, and it is the first thing we look at. The common wins are oversized instances, storage snapshots nobody deleted, idle test environments running all night, data transfer taking the expensive route, and on-demand pricing where reserved or savings plans would apply.
We work most with AWS and know it deepest, but we run workloads on Azure, Google Cloud and DigitalOcean too. If you are already on one of them, we work there rather than pushing a migration. Changing provider only makes sense when there is a clear reason.
Yours. We build in your own AWS, Azure or Google Cloud account, registered to your company with your billing. You hold root access throughout. We work inside it with scoped permissions you can revoke at any time. We never resell cloud capacity to you at a markup.
Under a managed cloud retainer, yes. Monitoring runs continuously and alerts page a human for anything that takes the service down, at any hour. For fixed-scope migration or setup projects, support runs during business hours with an agreed response window.
Most businesses under a few hundred thousand users do not. Kubernetes brings real operational overhead that only pays back at scale or with many independent services. We will tell you honestly whether managed containers or plain servers would serve you better and cost less to run.
Yes, and it is a large share of our work. We start with an audit of what exists, what it costs, and what is dangerous, then hand you a written picture of it. Undocumented infrastructure built by someone who has left is a normal starting point for us.
We can keep all data in Indian cloud regions, encrypt it at rest and in transit, restrict who can reach it, and keep audit logs of every access. That covers the technical requirements of India's DPDP Act. The policy and consent side stays with your legal advisor.
Cost depends on how many workflows you automate, how messy your data is, and whether it runs on your own infrastructure. Most clients start with a single fixed-price pilot on one workflow rather than committing to a full budget. After the pilot you have a real number and can decide whether to continue.
A pilot on one workflow takes four weeks. Week one is understanding the task and checking your data can support it. Weeks two and three build a working prototype on your real documents. The final week scores it against a test set so you see accuracy before deciding. See the fixed-price AI pilot
Whichever fits the task, the accuracy requirement and your privacy constraints. That may be Claude, GPT or Gemini through an API, or open-weight models like Llama or Mistral running on your own servers when data cannot leave. We pick after seeing your data, not before.
No. We use enterprise API tiers where providers contractually do not train on your inputs, or we run open-weight models entirely on your infrastructure so nothing leaves your network. We sign an NDA before you send us anything, and you own the resulting pipeline and any fine-tuned model.
Yes. WhatsApp is often the right place for it in India because customers and staff already live there. We build on the WhatsApp Business API, so the assistant answers questions, collects information and hands off to a human when it is not confident enough to reply. See our WhatsApp solutions
No. We build the monitoring, prompt versioning and dashboards so a non-technical manager can see accuracy, cost and volume without touching code. If something needs retraining or a prompt change, that sits with us under a maintenance arrangement rather than with your team.
You find out during the pilot, before committing to a full build. We score the system against a few hundred real examples and show you the number. If it cannot reach a level worth deploying, we say so and tell you what would have to change, usually better data.
Yes. Source code, prompts, pipelines, any fine-tuned model and all training data are yours from day one, in your accounts and your repositories. There is no licence back to us and no lock-in. If you stop working with us, everything keeps running exactly as it is.
That is usually the whole point. We connect to your CRM, ERP, helpdesk, database or spreadsheets through their APIs, so the output lands where people already work. Tools that live in a separate tab get abandoned within a month, however good the model is.
Most managed IT work is priced per user per month, so the cost scales with headcount rather than with how much breaks. Setup or takeover projects are quoted fixed-price separately. A dedicated onsite engineer is priced per person per month. We quote after seeing how many people, devices and offices are involved.
Our monthly retainer covers Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 administration, user onboarding and offboarding, device management, email and domain health, backups, security settings, and helpdesk for your staff. Hardware purchase, licence fees and cabling are billed separately at cost, never at a markup.
Both. Most issues are resolved remotely within the hour, which is faster than waiting for someone to travel. For anything physical, or if you want a permanent presence, we place a dedicated engineer at your office on a monthly basis across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and Ghaziabad.
Yes, and many companies end up running both because one team prefers Teams and another lives in Google Drive. We administer either, and we handle migrations between them, including mailboxes, shared drives, calendars and group permissions, without losing history.
You do. The Workspace or Microsoft 365 super-admin account is registered to your company and stays with your founder or director. We work under a delegated admin account you can remove in a minute. Your domain also stays registered in your own name.
Anything that stops the whole team working is picked up within one hour during business hours. A single blocked person is picked up within four hours. Everything else is handled the same working day. Business hours are 9am to 7pm IST, Monday to Saturday.
Yes, on a monthly basis, full-time or part-week. The engineer sits with your team but is backed by ours, so leave and sick days are covered and there is always someone senior to escalate to. This suits companies above roughly eighty people or with multiple offices.
We advise on what to buy and set it up, but we bill hardware at cost with the invoice attached rather than reselling it at a margin. That keeps our advice honest. If you would rather buy directly, we will send you a specification and configure whatever arrives.
Yes, and it is how most engagements start. We begin with an audit of every account, device, licence and domain you own, which is frequently the first time anyone has listed them. We then recover control of anything registered to the previous vendor before changing anything.
